A few good questions.
What size are Hugo coffee bags?
Each bag contains 340 g of whole-bean coffee. Choose 4:40 AM, our dark roast, or Tummy Time, our medium-dark roast. Bring your own grinder; we currently sell whole beans only.
How much does a bag cost?
A one-time bag is $25 CAD. Subscription bags are $22.50 CAD each, saving 10%.
Can I get coffee every two weeks or monthly?
Yes. Choose biweekly or monthly and select how many bags you’d like each time. Compare subscription options.
Can I mix one-time bags and subscriptions?
Yes. You can add both to your bag. One-time coffee is purchased once; subscription bags renew on their selected schedule.
When will my first order ship?
In-stock bags usually ship the next business day. If we need a fresh batch, checkout shows an estimated delivery window before payment. Fresh-batch cutoffs are the 1st and 15th, end of day Pacific time, with roasting time afterward. We’ll keep you informed as your order moves along.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Open Manage my subscription using your checkout email, or contact Bryce at bryce@choquer.agency for help with changes or a pause. Please give 14 days’ notice so we can adjust the next batch.
Is shipping free, and where do you deliver?
We currently offer free shipping to Canadian addresses. Checkout shows shipping and your estimated delivery window before you pay. Remote destinations may take longer.
Which roast should I choose?
Tummy Time is Mum’s everyday medium-dark roast, with dark-chocolate notes and a sweet, floral finish. 4:40 AM is Dad’s full-bodied dark roast, with low acidity and a rich aroma.
Is your coffee certified organic?
Both roasts use certified organic coffee beans. Good coffee for your next good morning.
How should I store my coffee beans?
Keep beans in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat. Grind just before brewing for the freshest cup.
How much coffee should I use per cup?
For filter coffee, start with about 14 g of coffee for 250 mL of water, then adjust to taste. Other brewing methods, including espresso, need different recipes.
What does 2% support?
2% of every sale supports children’s health care in BC. We set that amount aside and make donations periodically, so the little bags can add up to something bigger.
Do you offer wholesale coffee?
Yes. Coffee for your shop, office or a few more good mornings. Pricing is quoted on request; email bryce@choquer.agency and tell us what you have in mind.
Can I send coffee as a gift?
Yes. Place a one-time order using the recipient’s Canadian shipping address. Use your own email at checkout if you’d like to receive the order updates.
